What are the differences between the membership levels?

Guest

A guest member can view a selection of content which includes IP Guru (see below) channels and Playlists but they cannot participate in any community activities.

IP Community

The IP Community is free and allows members to view most of the content on the site. Members can suggest up to 10 videos, make comments, leave reviews and participate in all community activities. They can create 1 channel and 1 playlist.

IP Community members can friend other members and follow their video suggestions.

Geezer Guides

This membership level is by invitation only and is for purchasers of any Geezer Guides Publishing print or ebook. Access details are included in all our books. Members have all the benefits of an IP Community membership plus access to the Geezer Guides video library, that will eventually contain, videos of all the recipes in our books.

IP Guru

An IP Guru is passionate about the Instant Pot and wants to share their enthusiasm with the world. This $10 annual membership allows the member to have unlimited channels, series and playlists, plus they can suggest an unlimited number of videos.

How do I create my own channel?

Members can create their own channel by selecting “Public Profile” from the drop-down menu in the top right-hand corner under their name. Under your picture click the “Channels” button. After the page reloads click the “Create Channel” button and give your new channel a name.

How do I add videos to my channel?

Go to your channel and click the “Upload Video” button on the right-hand side of the channel menu bar. Fill in the form that appears and click the “Add Video” button at the bottom. Once your submission has been approved the video will appear on your channel.

How do I create my own playlist?

Go to any channel that you own and click the “Playlist” menu item. When the page reloads you will see a “Create Playlist” button on the right-hand side of the channel menu bar. Click the button and give your playlist a name. The playlist page will open and you can then edit the title (if you wish) and upload a thumbnail image for the page.

How do I add videos to my playlist?

Go to any playlist page that you own to add a video to that specific playlist. Click the “Upload Video” button and fill in the form details.
