How to Disassemble and Clean an Instant Pot

Have you ever spilled anything inside your Instant Pot?

It’s easy to thoroughly clean the lid and the inner pot, but what if you’ve spilled food down inside without the inner pot?

You can only reach maybe 1/2″ under the heating plate to clean it, so if you’ve had an accident and gotten food underneath, you’ll need to remove the heating plate completely to give your pressure cooker a thorough cleaning.
